Philadelphia-based documentary photographer Jacob Klensin has been chronicling MMA’s growth, both on the east coast and abroad, for several years on his website, figureoffighting.com. While the bulk of his work has focused on Daddis Fight Camps in Philadelphia, where he trains four times a week, he has made trips out west to Wanderlei Silva’s Wand Fight Team in Las Vegas and Legends MMA in Hollywood, Calif.
Last year, Klensin talked to me about taking a trip to Thialand, the birthplace of Muay Thai, one of the most-trained disciplines in Mixed Martial Arts. Klensin is there right now, and at the request of prommanow.com, has begun to vlog his adventures in the country.
In this first vlog, Klensin introduces himself, talks about his goals for his month-long trip and where it will take him in the country.
