Steve Blackman has an event going on tonight in Harrisburg, PA Fighting Championship. While I'm not able to be there, in honor of the event - Harrisburg's first - I figured I'd post this video of Blackman explaining some submissions.

I found that headline on Steve Blackman's Web site recently. No further info. at this time, but I'll let you know when I find out more. Steve, who you may recognize from his days as a WWF wrestler, has put together quite a crew in Harrisburg, consistently winning amateur fights.

Just received this message from Steve Blackman, who has an MMA academy in the Harrisburg area:
We had a great night in VA this weekend at Barbarian Fight Club Field of Glory Show - 5 fighters on the card and 5 wins.

Plus Chris Young Won the 170 Barbarian Title Fight - What a battle - it is the type of fight that the fans want to see - Joe Yates from the Kennel Club is one tough fighter.

Steve "The Lethal Weapon" Blackman, a former WWF wrestler - who often partnered with Ken Shamrock - has had great success with his MMA team, located in Harrisburg. By the way, A recent message sent to me said, "Jeff Smith just won a 145 title bout at Barbarian Fight Club's Stompin' Grounds along with 4 other wins and one decision loss. check it out at www.blackmanmma.com/results - this is our third amateur belt title this year!

Before the aforementioned Stompin' Grounds, Steve Blackman's MMA fight team will be well-represented at Barbarian Fight Club's Taste of Fury event this Saturday.
