Things I don't recommend
1. Having an I-think-my-lungs-are-going-to-come-flying-out-of-my-body cough that lasts four weeks
2. Having said cough while pregnant, when your abdominal muscles are already stretched too far and unhappy with you
3. Morphing said cough into an ear infection
4. Having an ear infection while pregnant, when your balance sucks anyway
5. Having an ear infection while trying to watch a 4-year-old, who's pretty sure you should be able to get up off the couch and play jumping/skipping/running games with her
6. Having an ear infection while pregnant and trying to watch a 4-year-old who has just realized that you REALLY don't feel good and so she will either:
a) take care of you, which requires spilling liquids in the kitchen, or
b) snuggle up against you (when you already have a fever and are just generally hot from being pregnant) and trying to lay on top of your belly -- and, therefore, on top of said abdominal muscles which are already unhappy with you and can take no more strain
And this, folks, is why I haven't posted anything in some time ....
