You know you've wanted to

And now, beloved readers, I present to you a story about my kids that will one day make them hate me for telling it but that is just too funny to keep to myself.

Earlier this week, I was getting Noah ready for a bath, and Sam jumped right in to help. She got a towel and a washcloth, she handed me his baby tub to fill up and she cooed and talked to him while I got everything set.

I put his cute little naked body in the tub, and Sam rolled up her sleeves and plunged her hands in, gently starting to wash his hair (I usually give her hair, arms and feet to wash). She was singing to him and complimenting him on doing such a good job, and I smiling in amazement at what an incredible big sister she's turning out to be.

And then, when I completely wasn't expecting it, she reached down, squeezed his pee-pee gently between her thumb and forefinger and said, "Squeak, squeak!"

I, being a little slow on the uptake because I was -- you're going to be amazed by this -- tired, just looked at her for a second. And then she said, "Did you see that, Mom? Watch this. It's fun. Squeak, squeak!"

This was one of those moments when I tried very hard not to just fall over laughing. 'Cuz deep down, if you'll admit you, ladies, you've always wanted to do that just once to one of those boy parts.

But I managed to keep a straight face and said, "I'm sure it's fun, Sammy, but it's probably not a good idea to squeeze baby Noah's pee-pee. You could hurt him, and we don't want to do that."

Surprisingly, she relented easily (if this had been anything else, she would have argued with me about why it IS a good idea and how it doesn't hurt him, see?, it doesn't hurt him, and he doesn't mind and ...).

And I think she gave up so quickly because she had gotten in that one thing that all girls have had the urge to do.

C'mon -- tell me a story your kids will hate you later for sharing.
