About this blog

I'm Amy Gulli, the day metro editor at the York Daily Record/Sunday News. When I'm not at work, I'm mommy to two wonderful kids. My daughter, Samantha (in the photo above), was born in July 2003, and she quickly taught me that being a mommy is the hardest thing I will ever do in my life. Mr. Noah (in the photo below) was born on Christmas Day 2007, and HE quickly taught me to abandon all attempts at housekeeping.

I’ve finally got a ton of new pictures of Noah to share! Many thanks to my niece Gina (who you’ll see in one of the pics) for sending these to me.

And, he’s off!
One day last week, I plopped Noah down onto a blanket that I had spread out on the living room floor. I plunked some toys down in front of his face, then darted upstairs with Sam to get her dressed. … Continue reading

I was speechless
I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with the kids once Sam starts school. As I’ve said, with my new new schedule, I’ll be able to get Sam on the bus to go to morning kindergarten. But then … Continue reading

Trust me, you’re on here
Please forgive me for being mostly MIA — I’ve had one of those weeks to write home about, if only I had time or energy to write. As a peace offering, here’s a link to a great CNN.com section about … Continue reading
