And, of course, I couldn't leave out my sweet Sammy, who has given me so much fodder for posts lately that I couldn't type them all up even if I gave up my precious few hours of sleep each night.
So here she is:
These two are from a recent "barn painting party" that we had. Basically, we gave some loved ones food and uncomfortable air mattresses to sleep on, then asked them to dangle themselves precariously from ladders and put three coats of paint on our rebuilt-from-the-ground-up, two-story barn. Thankfully, they still love us.
This is Sam enjoying being the center of attention as everyone sings to her during her second 5th birthday party, this one at an aunt's beach house last weekend. Though I totally cheated and snagged this cake from a grocery store about 20 minutes before this moment, I promise to soon post the video of the famous, awe-inspiring lion cake.
And I couldn't resist one of my two babies together.
