A duck says what?

Noah is so much fun right now.

He learned to say "Mom-mee," and he sounds just like a baby doll when he says it.

But ask him to say "Dad-dee," and he grins and says "Dada! Dada!"

He also has started to figure out animal sounds. I noticed a few weeks ago that, while we were reading a book, he kept patting the picture of the cat and saying, "Mou!"

So I said, "What does a kitty say?" And he said, "Mou!"

He also has a blow-up duckie bathtub that quacks when you push its bill -- and he LOVES to quack along with it.

Just this week, he started a new game with me, and I swear he knows he's making a joke.

When I ask, "What does a kitty say?" he says, "Mou!" Then I ask, "What does a duckie say?" and he gets a huge, toothy grin and says, "Mou!"

And then he giggles.

And then I giggle, too, of course, 'cuz he's just too darn cute.

What cute things are your kids doing now?

That is adorable! I remember the first time I tried to teach my 1yr old how to do animal sounds, his 2yr old sister tried to help as well, all he managed was "mooo!"
His newest word (as of this week) is "Elmo!" He has this surprised look on his face when he says it and he keeps his little mouth in a "O" after he says it! :D
Thanks for the posts! I look forward to reading every single one!
