Sam stories: June 2008 Archives

I got to have one of those wonderful, lazy summer afternoons playing outside with my daughter the other day.

And I got to mess with her head a little bit.

It was great fun.

So we took the kids on a mini-vacation to Baltimore earlier this week. It's definitely the first time I've tried to plan two straight days around what a 4-year-old wants to do -- with stuff that will also keep Mommy and Daddy interested, too.

One of my favorite parts happened on the first day, when we went to the Maryland Science Center. Sam got to dig in the sand to find dinosaur bones, among a myriad of dinosaur-related activities, and we watched an IMAX movie titled "Dinosaurs: Alive!"
