Bon Jovi announces new world tour

Rock band Bon Jovi announced plans Thursday for a new world tour that will swing by the new home of the New York Giants and Jets.
The two-year tour begins Feb. 19 in Seattle and includes a May 26 show at New Jersey's new $1.6 billion Meadowlands football stadium, which will be home to the New York Giants and Jets. It will feature 135 shows in 30 countries.
"It's a big world," lead singer Jon Bon Jovi said when asked about the length of the tour. "And we still make house calls."

Win 'War of the Worlds' tickets

FlipSide's giving away three pairs of tickets to "War of the Worlds" and "The Lost World" show at Penn State York's Pullo Family Performing Arts Center, 1031 Edgecomb Ave. in Spring Garden Township. The show is 7 p.m. Oct. 25. General admission is $18. VIP tickets are $28.

L.A. Theatre Works, America's premiere radio theatre company, presents two science fiction works. The company recreates Orson Welles' infamous "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast, originally performed in 1938. They also bring Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Amazon jungle adventure "The Lost World" to the stage.
