Aerosmith postponed its concert scheduled for Friday at Hersheypark Stadium due to an "artist injury," according to Hershey publicist Melissa Stradnick. She added that the venue was not informed which band member was injured or the extent of the injures. According to Aerosmith's Web site, aeroforceone.com, the band's had setbacks recently and it also postponed a Wednesday show in Cincinnati due to the injury.
ZZ Top, who played the 2008 York Fair, was also on the concert bill. ZZ Top publicist Amy Treco said the Cincinnati show was rescheduled quickly and expects the Hershey show would also be pushed back. Hershey tickets purchased for the concert will be honored at the rescheduled date. Aerosmith tickets qualified for a discount on four- and six-pack tickets from concert promoter Live Nation. The deal will still be accepted.
