I talked with Mark Jovich, owner and matchmaker of the Central Pennsylvania Warrior Challenge. With two successful events in York Township at Wisehaven Banquet Hall, Jovich moved his end of the year show to a bigger venue, the Lancaster Convention Center. Mark said at this point, things are going well for the Oct. 23 event, ticket sales are brisk, and the card is complete. We've got a lot of local, exciting fighters on the card, so it no doubt will be a great show. Looks like 19 fights, including the return of local pro Biff Walizer. Click here for the Web site and click here for the card.

Here it is. Mark Jovich is putting on Central Pennsylvania Warrior Challenge 3 at the Lancaster Convention Center on Oct. 23. Click here for tickets and click here to see the fight card.

From Larry Novak, owner of New Cumberland-based MMA clothing company, Tattoo Fightwear:
Tattoo Fightwear is gearing up for its two biggest months since its conception. On September 18, Matt Bentley will be fighting at Adrenaline 4. This card features former UFC fighters Tim Sylvia and Houston Alexander.
On October 23, the Central Pennsylvania Warrior Challenge will hold its third event in Lancaster, PA. On this card Tattoo Fightwear sponsored fighters Justin Scott and Lewis Rumsey will take their first fight as professionals. Also on this card Tattoo Fightwear sponsored fighters Duane Bastress, John Andel, and Jeff Runk will continue their quest to stay undefeated as amateurs. This event will have a total of 5,000 people and will take the Central Pennsylvania Warrior Challenge to the next level. To get tickets go to www.warriorchallenge.info. Josh Ferguson out of Team Cruz MMA will also be fighting in October at the Ultimate Warrior Challenge. Thank you for your support.
