
John Stine sits inside a hand-constructed late 1800s jail cell. Bunks in the cell come from the old York County Prison on Chestnut Street. These are some of the artifacts displayed in the Police Heritage Museum. Stine has been a driving force behind the 3,400-square-foot museum. But he was on foot on a detail to nab a suspect, Jacob Troup, in May 1929.
