You made it through the first round of boot camp, so join us for Round 2 before slowing it down with some yoga. This is our last month of No Sweat in the Park for the season, so let’s go out with a bang and show those calories who is boss!
I decided yoga is kind of a hipster retro thing, and since I was going to the yoga studio in the city it was even more hipster, and since I decided I was going to bike there, that made it way more hipster, so much so that I should get some kind of hipster award – like an antique typewriter I can bring with me to Starbucks instead of my laptop.
It’s not too late, we have two months left of free fitness classes this season, which gives plenty of time to burn more calories and gain strength.

I was never a fan of high school gym class. Sports left me humiliated in a puddle of my own inadequacy. In trying to keep pace with my classmates, I was often left breathless. So you can imagine my hesitancies when I enrolled in a requisite yoga class in college. Standing in the gymnasium with my black, roll-up mat, I never imagined that this form of exercise would have such an enduring impact on my life.
The weather was breathtaking, the turn out was amazing, and the yoga was invigorating. We couldn’t have asked for a better first session of No Sweat in the Park.
There has been great feedback about the May No Sweat in the Park schedule and we hope you will make it out for our classes in June that will turn up the heat.
You know warmer weather is on the way when you get the No Sweat in the Park schedule. So here it is, a promise that summer is not too far ahead.
There are plenty of places to get your yoga on in York County. But before you break out your mat and get to stretching, test your knowledge of poses and try them out!
