A cold in your eye?

I’ve had this weird thing going on in my left eye for about a week now. It’s not pinkeye or a sty (the doctor says), so my mother has decided I have “a cold in my eye.”

Our vet uses that phrase about my cats occasionally, and I don’t know what it means for them any more than I do for myself. So I’m asking – does anyone know if there’s some medical equivalent to this? And what am I supposed to do about it – it’s getting uncomfortable!

About Joan

My name is Joan and I'm a lifelong Yorker. Throughout high school and college, I swore I was getting out of here as soon as possible. Now, a few years later, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. I love my town, and I hear every day from readers who love their towns, too. So please, connect with me and let's share what makes life in York County great. I'm here to help you enjoy this place as much as I do!

Hi, could you please let me know if you learn anything? I had something similar many years ago, and now I wish I’d learned more about it,
    Thanks,
    Lisa
