Fun in northern York County

| | Comments (0)

I've always spent a lot of time in Warrington Township, mostly because it's home to my just-about-favorite-place-in-the-world, Pinchot Park. As an adult, I've found even more things to love about the area.

For example, there's the Warrington Farm Bed and Breakfast, where my husband and I stayed to celebrate our first anniversary. The stay (and a bottle of Naylor Wine) were a gift from our best man, another York Countian. The B&B is a friendly place with GREAT breakfast. My husband and I were the only guests the night we were there, so it was like having the royal treatment. Very cool.

And more recently, my sister-in-law and her husband bought a house on a good-sized parcel of land in the township, and we've had a blast having our family get-togethers up there, where there's a ton of room for her son and my daughter to run around. That's me above, in one of her willow trees.

Anyone else have any favorite areas of the county? I can honestly say I've been to every single municipality in our county (there are 72, if you're wondering) and I could say something cool about each one of them... who knows, maybe I will.
