Like bluegrass?

If you’re a bluegrass fan and looking for something to do this weekend, you might want to head south!
Scarecrow Farm, 2178 Orwig Road, Hopewell Township, is going to host a public bluegrass concert by the Harold Tipton Band from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Doors open at noon.

The farm’s owners say “Bring a picnic basket and enjoy your lunch while enjoying this great entertainment! Snacks and soda are available for purchase.”
If you’d like to go, cost is $8 per person; kids younger than 6 are admitted free. Bring your lawn chair for general seating; or, if you like, reserve a table with eight chairs for an additional $10.
Reservations are recommended; call 781-3625. And, in case you’re wondering because of this week’s excellent weather so far, the event will be held in Scarecrow Farm’s event barn rain or shine!

About Joan

My name is Joan and I'm a lifelong Yorker. Throughout high school and college, I swore I was getting out of here as soon as possible. Now, a few years later, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. I love my town, and I hear every day from readers who love their towns, too. So please, connect with me and let's share what makes life in York County great. I'm here to help you enjoy this place as much as I do!
