Rednecks unite!

Now, I've never met Jonathan. If I did, I'd probably have to fight down the urge to call him Jon-boy. But from his blog, he sounds cool enough not to mind. At least, I hope he wouldn't, because he also seems somewhat larger than me and I sure wouldn't want to offend him.
He's also got great taste in tunes. Check out his "Illegal download of the post" feature on most of his entries. Ricky Skaggs, Metallica and Charlie Daniels? And I said I was eclectic...
Meanwhile, in the category of keepin' it country, I recently came upon this article about J.R. Myers Jr. of Felton, who made a showing in a team steer-roping event during a rodeo earlier this month in Gerry, New York.

But no Jon-Boy for this ol' boy. I've answered to "Bear" for as long as I can remember... thank goodness i grew into it.
