Nah, not Thanksgiving, though that's coming up soon enough... I mean hunting season!
And in celebration, I decided to hunt up a new Yorkism.
You ever "hunt" or "hunt up" something? It means to look for, in the "Crap, why can't I find that?" sense. You know, like, "I'm hunting that cooking stove we took to deer camp last year - where'd it get put?" or "I've been to six stores hunting new winter boots, but none of them fit."
And what better time of year than this to talk about this one? Meanwhile, anyone out there heading to deer camp? Where at?
