Learn about York's past - for a dollar!

| | Comments (1)

Just received a release from the York County Heritage Trust about a special this weekend - $1 admission to all the Heritage Trust properties from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The man galleries at the Heritage Trust museum on East Market Street are closed for the next two months for HVAC construction, but their library and gift shop are still open, and there is also the Agricultural and Industrial Museum at 217 W. Princess St. and the Colonial Complex (home of the now-fixed Plough Tavern!) at 157 W. Market St.

Want to learn more? Call the trust at 846-6452.

Am I to understand that the York County Heritage Trust, is now providing wheelchair access for cripples to enjoy the Colonial Courthouse? Well I'd be happy to spend a dollar on that... David Clarence: Expressly Reserving All Liberties.
