If you're intrigued by Y.A.P.S., another upcoming event will certainly draw your interest - a presentation on York County's haunted places and ghost stories later this month, courtesy of the Red Lion Area Historical Society.

The Red Lion Area Historical Society will hold its next public meeting 7:30 p.m. March 27 at St. John's United Church of Christ, North Main Street, Red Lion.

Guest speaker Leo Motter will present "Haunted Places in York County and Ghost Stories About York County."

Admission is free. Guests should park at the rear of the church.

My name is Joan and I'm a lifelong Yorker. Throughout high school and college, I swore I was getting out of here as soon as possible. Now, a few years later, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. I love my town. And, as a local editor, I hear every day how much you love your towns, too. So please, connect with me and let's share what makes life in York County great. I'm here to help you enjoy this place as much as I do!
