Restaurant rearranging

So, a story today says that the Starlite Diner was sold. And, its soon-to-be-former owner, Hristos "Chris" Kopanis, is the person who's going to open up the Eagles Nest (again) on Mount Rose Avenue.

Photo by Flickr user TZphotography, found via Flickr search for Starlite Diner - wow, there's lots of Starlites.

Steve C. Efstathiou, the Starlite's soon-to-be new owner, says he's going to rename the eatery the Nautilus Diner. I don't know... Starlite kind of had a better ring, but what do I know about being a restaurateur?

In 2004, Chris Kopanis sold the place I went on my first date with my husband - the Crazy Horse in the Cross Keys area of Adams County. I'm hoping the new version of the Eagles Nest keeps some of the good stuff from that place, which is still good but not quite the same!
