This is Hannah Garman. You might have heard about Hannah this Christmas... she's been on TV, on several e-mail lists, etc.
Hannah is 5 years old and was diagnosed in October with rare and aggressive cancerous brain tumor called glioblastoma multiforme. The doctors have given Hannah 2 to 3 months to live without treatment and approximately 11 months with radiation, which she will be starting soon. Her father and two older siblings, as well as her grandparents, are all supporting her. Her mother died of cancer several years ago, so this is a family that's been hit hard.
In the e-mail that's been going around (and this has been verified), the family mentions that while Hannah is mostly confined to bed and can't do very much, she does enjoy seeing Christmas cards, and friends of the family are asking for anyone who can to mail Hannah a card.
The address:
Hannah Garman
704 Orchard Rd
Lititz, PA 17543
If you have a few minutes, would you consider sending Hannah a card? One woman who works at the Lititz post office said Hannah received more than 600 cards in a single day earlier this week. if you'd like to learn more about Hannah and what she's going through, you can see the family's CaringBridge Web site.

Did you hear about this from me? I got an email from a friend who knows the family and I sent the email out to some others...not sure if I sent it to you or not.
Thanks for posting this, Joan! Hopefully my Ferris will make this little girl smile!
