Picture overload

SD_Memory_Card.jpgHere’s a lesson learned the hard way:

Don’t let your digital photos back up on your camera for a year.

Further, don’t do that, then hit the Kodak insta-print kiosk at Wal-Mart and tell it to print them all for you at 28 cents a pop.

Most especially, don’t do that before checking the camera to make sure you’ve erased the 100-plus shots your daughter took of herself, the cat, her stuffed animals, the back door, her thumb, etc.

That was an expensive lesson to learn.

I’m going to a scrapbooking retreat in Gettysburg this weekend, so what I really wanted was to print out the Christmas pictures, so I could make a Christmas album. I don’t think there’s any doubt, 380-some pictures later, that I’ll have enough photos to work on in the next 72 hours!

About Joan

My name is Joan and I'm a lifelong Yorker. Throughout high school and college, I swore I was getting out of here as soon as possible. Now, a few years later, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. I love my town, and I hear every day from readers who love their towns, too. So please, connect with me and let's share what makes life in York County great. I'm here to help you enjoy this place as much as I do!

Well, we now know how WalMart was financially saved in the first quarter of 2009
