Here's a lesson learned the hard way:
Don't let your digital photos back up on your camera for a year.
Further, don't do that, then hit the Kodak insta-print kiosk at Wal-Mart and tell it to print them all for you at 28 cents a pop.
Most especially, don't do that before checking the camera to make sure you've erased the 100-plus shots your daughter took of herself, the cat, her stuffed animals, the back door, her thumb, etc.
That was an expensive lesson to learn.
I'm going to a scrapbooking retreat in Gettysburg this weekend, so what I really wanted was to print out the Christmas pictures, so I could make a Christmas album. I don't think there's any doubt, 380-some pictures later, that I'll have enough photos to work on in the next 72 hours!
