It's the fifth annual meat bingo, co-sponsored by Eureka Fire and Ambulance Company and Stewartstown Lions Club.
The event will take place Thursday, Feb. 5, at the fire hall on North Main Street in Stewartstown, and features more than $1,800 in meat prizes, including one special-game seafood bonanza. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and games begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $12 and are available at L&L Citgo, from any Lions Club member or by calling 993-5553.
The economy's not so great. For $12, maybe it isn't a bad idea to take your chances and try to stock up your freezer!

Beef, it's what's for dinner. (western theme music in the background) Also, I love animals, there're delicious.
Speaking of which, Joni could you please do something on smoking and the banning thereof. I would like to go off on a tirade about how I would like stop the recession via a cigarette tax hike.
Joan,
What could be better than meat prizes at Bingo?! Wow, the ideas from York are astonishing and start me thinking about what I can bring to the table here for Fundraisers for our local communities. Looks like it's about time York ideas start giving back to our ancestral homes! Woohoo!!
Bis später,
