Please, please, please, loyal readers - go check out my guest post on "The Organized Garage" over at professional organizer and fellow York Countian Debbie Jordan-Kravitz's blog.
You can learn how to keep your garage "car-park-able" for winter. In fact, I was so motivated by my guest post, that I parked MY car in the garage last night, gave it a thorough vacuuming, and then left it there! What a novelty.
Anyway, go check it out!

I'm impressed. Want to come to my garage?
Must be the declutter season. Last week I rid my garage of empty insecticide/pesticide containers which I thought had to be disposed as hazardous waste. I've collected them since last summer waiting for someone to hold a session like Dover did a year or two ago. Not so, I find out from Fairview Township. Those containers can go out with regular HOUSEHOLD trash. And out they went, along with old and unsuable flower pots which I wondered why I was still holding on to. Since granddaughter's bicycle and an old table are no longer taking up space in the garage I can now walk the whole way around my car with the garage door closed!
Thanks so much for your guest post, Joan! You've inspired many people to bring their own cars in from the cold this winter!!!
Our garage is cluttered, but still has room for the two cars it is supposed to house. Unfortunately, we only have a two car garage, and we are a four car family. And since two of those four vehicles are mine, they are the ones left out in the cold. I'd almost sell my soul for a remote starter for the SUV!
