2010 will be a better year

While I’d love to convince myself that all of you have been at the edge of your seats for the last two weeks, wondering, “When will Joan blog again? I can’t stand it!,” I realize that holiday busyness had probably set in for you as it did for me and you hadn’t even noticed I was gone.
Well, I’m back. And, as the post title says, 2010 will be a better year. I have a lot to update you on, including the continuation of the ABCs of York County, and the launch of my other promised series on “Names Around Town.” I’ve also got some neat reader photos to showcase, a fun piece of York County movie trivia that I just learned, and a surprise York County reference in one of my daughter’s Christmas gifts.
All that, though, pales in comparison to the real question of the day (or year, as it were). I know everyone is debating this, including national radio and TV folks, but here is your chance to tell me what you think.

About Joan

My name is Joan and I'm a lifelong Yorker. Throughout high school and college, I swore I was getting out of here as soon as possible. Now, a few years later, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. I love my town, and I hear every day from readers who love their towns, too. So please, connect with me and let's share what makes life in York County great. I'm here to help you enjoy this place as much as I do!

Welcome back, Joan, we missed you. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us.

I did miss you! I haven’t yet responded to your filling email because I’ve been just as busy, but it is saved on my to do list. I like emailing my friends when I ahve time to think and actually write as if I’m talking to them directly :) (Short answer yes, I did and it was delicious as usual) 2010 sucked for me so far, long story I will include in the email but I’m hoping it will shape up nicely here soon.
