Moul Home residents Amy, left, and Patrick sit in front of the home's showcase filled with more than 130 donated quilts and craft items that will be sold at the third annual Quilt and Craft Auction from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the 4-H Center on Stoverstown Road off Route 116. The Margaret E. Moul Home is going to have its third annual quilt and craft auction from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow at the 4-H Center on Stoverstown Road in Bair, West Manchester Township.
Besides being able to bid on a beautiful quilt and items made by the home's residents, there's also a used book sale (a passion of mine) and a barbecue chicken dinner by the Sertoma Club of York.
Dinner tickets are $7 for half a chicken, a baked potato, applesauce and a roll. For tickets or to find out more, call 767-6463.
I'm personally excited about supporting the Moul Home and its work because of some people I know who have lived there or benefitted from the home's support. So if you'd like a good dinner and a chance to see some nice crafts Saturday, I'd suggest heading out!
