You might have seen the new image on the right side of this page earlier this week - like the one in this entry, it describes a new resource for learning more about local history.
It's a directory of groups, Web sites, museums and more, and I'm not ashamed to say I worked on it for quite a while!

I'm honestly not worried about the "swine flu" (technically H1N1 influenza) outbreak that's been talked about so much lately.
That said, it never hurts to be prepared and well-informed, right? I think one of the reasons I'm not panicky and stressed out over this potential sickness is the volume I've read about it while at work.
So, in the interest of helping everyone stay informed - and NOT to "spread panic," as one friend of mine accused me of - we created a "swine flu center" on the YDR news site.
