MILITARY PETS NEED FOSTER HOME

Chris Lavrich’s sister recently moved to Seattle, Wash. She is in the Coast Guard and stationed on an ice cutter. Her tour of duty is three months out at sea and two months in port. She has two Chows that are 9 and 10 years old. She has had them since they were puppies. She did have a foster family lined up through NetPets to watch them, but they backed out. She is desparately searching for another foster home (Net Pets is still searching for another home, too). The boat leaves Aug. 28, so she doesn’t have much time. She is willing to fly the dogs (they have flown many times before) if a foster family is available somewhere. She really is attached to the dogs and can’t imagine giving them up. They do not like other dogs or small children, but they are very well behaved. They are miniature Chows and just lay around all day. If you can help, call Chris Lavrich at (610) 582-2463 or e-mail MobileCARRIE1@aol.com.
