CPAA & SPCA TEAM UP FOR SPAY/NEUTER/VACCINES

| | Comments (0)

During the month of August 2006, Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance (CPAA) of Harrisburg provided York County SPCA with a maximum grant of $2,000 to spay/neuter and vaccinate stray, outdoor domestic and feral felines for the City of York.

Fifty-three felines from the City of York were spayed or neutered and vaccinated through the York County SPCA Community In-House Spay/Neuter Clinic. Both organizations have partnered together to reduce the feline overpopulation problem and the number of animals euthanized in shelters.

Contact York County SPCA at (717) 764-6109, ext. 121, to schedule an appointment or for details about low-cost spay/neuter services available for York County residents.
