| | Comments (0)

PAWS, a local animal-welfare organization, will hold a “Spay-ghetti dinner from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Dover Community Center. All profits from the dinner are earmarked for spaying, neutering, and emergency medical care for homeless cats in Adams and York counties.

Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children age 5 to 11 and younger than 5 are admitted free.

To keep costs down and increase profits for its programs, PAWS is asking local businesses and individuals to donate either specific items for the dinner or gift cards/money for the purchase of those items.

Needed supplies for the dinner include: Italian bread, ground coffee, tea bags, creamer, sugar, grated cheese, soda, bottled water, applesauce, meat balls, marinara sauce, garlic, olive oil, salad makings or pre-made bagged salads, ranch dressing and Italian dressing.

PAWS also needs gift certificates and items for door prizes, a silent auction, and raffles. The deadline for donations is Tuesday.
