More than 20 new horses have come to Lost & Found Horse Rescue via a feedlot, and the rescue needs donations and volunteers to foster many of the horses while they await adoption. L&FHR now has 55 horses in need of homes or assistance.
Looking for a gift idea? With a donation of $100 or more, you can sponsor a horse for a month, and Lost & Found Rescue will send a card with an acknowledgement of your gift in honor of a friend or family member.
To make donating easy, the rescue has a PayPal account set up on its Web site, www.lfhr.org. All donations are tax deductible.
Lost & Found Horse Rescue is open for visitors from 2 to 5 p.m. Sundays, and by appointment. The rescue is at 852 Valley Road, Jacobus.
