ASPCA seeks heroes for its annual Humane Awards

| | Comments (0)

The ASPCA is seeking extraordinary people who have made larger-than-life efforts for animals this year, and for exceptional pets who’ve performed heroic acts.

You’re invited to nominate heroes you know in the following categories:

ASPCA Dog of the Year
ASPCA Cat of the Year
ASPCA Kid of the Year
ASPCA Law Enforcement Officer of the Year
ASPCA Firefighter of the Year

The deadline for entries is noon on Aug. 15. Nominations should be submitted via the forms on the ASPCA website, and winners will be chosen by a committee selected by the ASPCA.

Winning heroes, two-legged and four, will be honored at an awards luncheon Thursday, Nov. 1, at Rockefeller Plaza’s Rainbow Room in New York City.
