Patton Veterinary Hospital, 425 E. Broadway, Red Lion, will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its new facility with an open house 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17.

The public is invited to join the doctors and staff of PVH for a special behind-the-scenes look at the daily operations of a modern animal hospital. Escorted tours will be offered between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Through donations and various raffles, the event will benefit the York Area Regional Police K-9 Unit. The collected funds will be used toward the purchase of a new service dog, an important project for the force with a potential cost of several thousand dollars.
