Puppy mill legislation rally in Harrisburg
On Wednesday, May 14, at 10:30 a.m., Governor Rendell's office will be hosting a press conference at the Capitol to announce newly released legislation designed to put an end to many of the conditions that encourage ongoing animal cruelty, abuse and neglect in Pennsylvania's large scale commercial breeding kennels.
If you attend but one animal advocacy event this spring, THIS is the one you don't want to miss!
Save gas and take the bus! United Against Puppy Mills is offering group transportation from Lancaster, PA, to the Capitol in Harrisburg. Five dollars buys round trip transportation plus the company of fellow advocates -- what a terrific deal. The bus will depart from Lancaster at 9:15 a.m. and will return no later than 1 p.m. If you'd like to ride on the UAPM bus you must reserve a seat no later than 10 a.m. Monday, May 12. RSVP your seat by contacting Jackie at jkeeney60@hotmail.com.
