Meet Paris

| | Comments (0)

parispit.jpgParis is a total sweetie and very smart. She has not had an accident in her crate since the first night with us and she is catching onto training very quickly. She already knows "sit" and "stay" after less than one week in her foster home!

Paris doesn't show any signs of aggression towards other animals. (Which isn't a surprise, she doesn't appear to have a mean bone in her body.) When she meets the 5-year-old male Staffordshire terrier and our two kitties in her foster home, she wags her tail and sniffs, but she quickly averts her attention back to whatever person is near. Paris likes other animals, but she is definitely more interested in people. Even when being walked her through the neighborhood, if other dogs come out to visit, Paris just politely says 'hi' and keeps walking.

When she first came to her foster home, you could see all of her ribs and she got tired during walks very quickly because she wasn't very strong. Each day, she can go a little bit longer and she is already starting to fill out very nicely. (Her dinners of rice and chicken every night are helping her gain weight....AND making her foster Daddy jealous while he eats leftover pizza!)

Paris is very inquisitive, and always tries to 'figure out' everything new she sees. She loves to be outside and explore everything she can in the yard. The right forever home for her will definitely have people that love the outdoors. Paris behaves very well inside, but her favorite thing is to go outside and play. She loves to play fetch or just lay in the grass on a warm day.

Paris is up-to- date on all of her vaccinations, and she recently was spayed.

The shelter she came from thought she was about 2 years old, but she might be even younger than that.
