For details on pets available for adoption, call the York County SPCA at (717) 764-6109, e-mail msmith@ycspca.org or visit the shelter at 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, (Manchester Township) York, PA. Pets adopted from the SPCA are spayed or neutered and receive necessary vaccinations as part of the adoption fee.

53646Davidson.jpg
Davidson is an adult male foxhound who was returned to the shelter because he didn't get along with one of the other dogs in the home. He gets along fine with many other dogs, just didn't like that one dog in particular. Davidson gets along with kids and cats, too. He's housebroken and neutered. His ID# is 53646.

53365Daisy.jpg

Daisy is a young Jack Russell terrier mix whose owner could no longer afford to provide for her. She is a bit shy around guys at first, but she gets over it. Daisy is only 1 year old. She got along with cats at her previous home. Daisy deserves a loving home and family to live with. Could that be yours? Her ID# is 53365.

53503Wendall.jpg

Wendall was just a bit skittish about having his photos taken, but once he got to know the shelter workers a bit, he opened up. Wendall's age is estimated to be between 1 and 5 years. He is a Jack Russell terrier found as a stray in York Township. Visit Wendall today! His ID# is 53503.

53562Oden.jpg

Oden is a 7-year-old pit bull terrier mix with an awesome brindle coat. Oden's owner wanted to keep him, but the landlord wouldn't allow it. He is house-trained and good with dogs and kids. Because Oden is 7 years old, his adoption fee is only $29.99. You have to meet him to understand just how sweet this guy is. His ID# is 53562.

53414Tanner.jpg

Tanner is a 1- to 5-year-old Jack Russell terrier found in York as a stray. Small dogs get adopted quick, so visit the shelter soon to see Tanner! He would love a new playmate. His ID# is 53414.

53623Aida.jpg
Aida is a pretty 2-year-old pit bull terrier mix. She was being adorable during her photo session, as you can see. Aida is house-trained and gets along with dogs, kids and cats. The only reason Aida was returned to the shelter was because the owner's son became allergic. She's a great dog and deserves a great home. Can you please give Aida a chance? Her ID# is 53623.

53563Theo.jpg

Theo is a young pit bull terrier who was turned into the shelter because he was "too much to handle" for his previous owner. His previous owner reported that Theo gets along with dogs, kids and cats. He is also house-trained and neutered. Theo is only 1 year old and still has a lot of puppy in him. He is waiting for an energetic new friend to play with! His ID# is 53563.

53521.jpg

This pretty pit bull terrier was found as a stray in York. It's hard to believe that no one has come looking for her. She sat on command for her pictures. Her age is estimated to be between 1 and 5 years old. Visit this gorgeous girl today; she would love to see you! Her ID# is 53521.

53325Bouncer.jpg

Bouncer is a really cool foxhound mix estimated to be between 1 and 5 years old. He has a tan coat with a black section on his back. Bouncer was found as a stray in Codorus Township. He is neutered. Pay Bouncer a visit, he'll see if you're on "the list." His ID# is 53325.

53484Harry.jpg

Harry was a cruelty sign-over. He had been tied outside without adequate shelter, food or water. Like many cruelty cases, Harry does not appear to hold a grudge at all. He's very happy when he's getting attention from volunteers and staff. Harry is a 4-year-old border collie/terrier mix. Visit Harry soon and give him the love he deserves. His ID# is 53484.
