LOST: Black and white cat in Glen Rock

| | Comments (2)

Cookie5.jpg A black-and-white cat was lost Oct. 12 in the area of Church and High streets in Glen Rock, PA, near the Post Office and the cemetery.

Cookie is a year old, and very slender and petite, which makes her look like a kitten. She has never been outside, and is not spayed.

She has dark copper eyes and has white feet, legs, stomach, chest and neck, and some white on her face.

If you have any information on Cookie, please call Anne anytime at 443-605-5439 or e-mail kutekali25@yahoo.com.

Update: Cookie was possibly seen near the Wetzel's ShurFine Grocery Store in Glen Rock, PA. A patron followed her across the street where there is a pond & house then through the woods into the parking lot behind the pizza & sub shop where she disappeared behind a fenced in shed area in the back & possibly into the woods there. We also have received a call that she may be hang out around back of the Peoples Bank in Glen Rock. We are still hopeful that she will be found and brought back to us. Please let us know if you have seen her, we are trying to figure out her "tracking" area so that we can get her back or set humane traps to catch her. Thank you for all of your help. Anne

Anne,

My husband and I saw that black and white cat across from Wetzel's yesterday when we were out looking for Newbie. He was by the pond. He looked bigger than what you describe Cookie as being. I got the feeling that he lives at that house next to the pond.

If you haven't already, keep an eye out in the back part of the Glen Rock Mill Inn parking lot. Several cats hang out there as someone from COAX, which has an office back there, puts food out for them. We saw a few cats back there last night hiding in the bushes near the Rail Trail.

There are a lot of cat lovers in Glen Rock who put food out for the neighborhood cats. There are lots of warm sheds and garages for them to take cover in. Unfortunately, that makes it harder for us to find them. Keep the faith.

Kathy
