A nearly 7-foot male Burmese python was found Monday in York Haven, dumped by the roadside, slashed in several places, and with a gunshot wound to the back of the head, according to a woman who found it.
Melissa Smith of the York County SPCA said Tuesday night they are aware of the incident and will be investigating.
That is just ridiculous and cruel. Who has the heart to do that to any kind of animal?
I don’t understand it, either. I know some people don’t care for snakes, but why be so cruel to a living creature?
