Videos from South Newton Township meeting on whether to trap and kill stray cats

Below are videos taken by JF Richards at last night’s South Newton Township meeting, where they were discussing whether to trap and kill free-roaming cats in the township. The supervisors have decided to try trap-neuter-return instead, thanks to the outcry of many citizens and animal welfare groups.

JF gathered more than 14,000 signatures on a petition against killing the cats through the Saving the Cats of South Newton Township From Extermination Facebook page.
