I will miss them but I think they’re getting an awesome home, so I’m happy for them. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well between the kitties and the two dogs in the house.
Debbie went shopping earlier for cat supplies, and set up a room for Sasha and Momma to stay in while they get acclimated to their new surroundings. I sent Sasha’s ball-go-round toy along, since she is always playing with that, or sitting on it.Around 7 p.m., I got this message from Randy’s phone:
“The kitties are settling right in. The dogs are scared of them. Sasha acted like a mountain lion. I think they’ll get used to each other. Cats are laying on the bed grooming now. … They took over the bed already.”
Yay! That’s what I like to hear!I’m mad at myself because I forgot to give them Sasha and Momma’s vet records, and also forgot the cat bed that Momma had recently claimed. It was found among Laurie’s belongings, and the first night I brought it home, Momma hopped right in it.
There also were at least five cat brushes found among Laurie’s things. I had put those on the kitchen table so I could ask Debbie if she wanted to choose one or two for the kitties. They’re still on the table. (Actually, by the time of this writing, my cats have probably knocked them off the table onto the floor. They clear off the table like that pretty much every day.)
Oh well, guess I’ll have to visit the kitties — er, I mean the Kryshers — to drop off some stuff, huh? 🙂
