Gyro loves to play fetch

gyro536.jpgGoldHeart Golden Retriever Rescue's Pet of the Week is Gyro (GH-536), an approximately 3-year-old golden retriever who will play fetch endlessly with sticks, balls or Frisbees.

Gyro is crate-trained and does OK on a leash. He gets along with non-dominant dogs, but has not been tested with cats. He is adjusting well to living in a house and has had no "accidents."

Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter's Pet of the Week is a gorgeous 1- or 2-year-old long-haired charcoal-gray female cat who was found drenched and huddled under a tree during a thunderstorm.

She's now spayed and up-to-date on vaccines, is great with children and "talks" to you.
