A female brown and black tabby with white paws and white bib was lost during a fire from East King Street in York, PA. She's 1½ years old, spayed, and her name is Biscuit.

The family got two of their cats out of the house, and two others scattered; the family has since found the third one, but Biscuit is still missing. If seen, call (717) 880-1079.

LOST: Orange tabby

saber.jpgSaber, an approximately 10-month-old orange tabby, has been missing since Nov. 7 from Cypress Road South, Dover, PA.

His owners found him as a stray in June, and tried to make him an indoor cat, but he insisted on being an indoor/outdoor cat. He would roam the neighborhood, but didn't travel far. Neighbors saw him at 3 p.m. Nov. 7, but he didn't return to his owners' house by 5 p.m., as he usually did.

If seen, call (717) 292-6012.

Black beauty found in Littlestown

littlestowncat.jpgIs this your cat? Or, would you like it to be?

This beautiful kitty showed up at a house in Littlestown on Halloween night. The cat is all black with just a few stray white hairs here and there, and is very sweet and well-behaved.

The finder is unsure if it's a male or female, but said it appears to be healthy, eats well, and has not been declawed.

Seems to have been an indoor cat, since it hasn't been fussing to go outside at all and it is very people friendly. It is an adult cat but seems to be pretty young. It is a good-sized cat, rather long and lean, with big paws.

littlestowncat2.jpgThe finder is hoping someone can take the cat in; they say it's a really great cat and deserves a better fate than being put down just because no one will adopt it.

For details, call Amy at (717) 359-9487.
