Woman hit, dog stolen at Harrisburg-area park

| | Comments (0)

monroe-stolen.jpgOn March 21, a woman was walking her GoldenDoodle named Monroe at Wildwood Nature Center in Harrisburg, PA (Susquehanna Township), when she was approached by two men walking a black dog that she thought to be a Labrador.

The men asked what kind of dog Monroe was, and the man with the Labrador began walking away. The other man hit her in the temple with a rock, she fell to the ground and the man ran off with her dog.

She described the men as being in their 20s or early 30s with brown hair; one was wearing glasses.

The park authorities were notified, as well as authorites in Susquehanna Township, Lower Paxton Township and Harrisburg Township.

Please help bring Monroe home. He is a very loving and affectionate dog, but is easily scared sometimes.

If you have any information on Monroe, please contact the local police mentioned above or call 717-903-8598 or e-mail hjc2215@comcast.net.
