This little cutie is a baby fennec fox.
According to the Smithsonian National Zoological Park's website:
The fennec fox's expansive ears help it hunt mice at night. Along with rodents, it eats insects, lizards, birds and vegetation. It lives in Northern Africa, Sinai and Arabian peninsulas. At 3.5 pounds, the fennec fox is the world's smallest canid.
The Daily Coyote is a blog chronicling the life of a baby coyote that came to live with a woman named Shreve and a cat named Eli in their Wyoming cabin.

This dog knows how to keep cool on a hot day!

Millie Noaker took this photo of Miss Kitty, who is approximately 21 years old, drinking from the birdbath at her Codorus Township home. Noaker said Miss Kitty often drinks from either the birdbath or the fountain.

A visiting raccoon seems to be asking ‘Can I have some more?’ after eating the leftovers from Miss Kitty’s food on the porch of Millie Noaker’s Codorus Township home.
I LOVE this photo that was on cuteoverload.com:
A woman who has given 130 street cats a home finds that mealtime can spark a feeding frenzy.
In these YouTube videos of ducks and pit bulls, the ducks seem to be in charge!

From a reader:

Cashew, a 14-year-old yellow Labrador, is blind and deaf. Her best friend and seeing-eye cat is Libby, who's 7 years old. Libby steers Cashew away from obstacles and leads Cashew to her food. The pair sleep together every night, and the only time they're apart is when Cashew's owners take her out for a walk.
It's amazing but true; this cat knows what needs to be done and does it every day for her friend.

Bam Bam's owner, Don King, says, "This is Bam Bam. She is a 3½ -year-old female bulldog. This picture shows her favorite daytime state: alert, vigilant, protecting my home."
