It sounds like Jordan Norwood will be a receiving threat in Thursday's Rose Bowl despite a bad foot. The senior receiver who is the Nittany Lions best threat in the middle of a crowded field, said he's about "90 percent" healthy since injuring his left foot in the regular season finale against Michigan State.

He didn't practice with the team in State College during December and even wore a protective boot on the sprained foot to help it heal.

He said he has practiced this week and that the foot is "getting better as the days go on."

Norwood is the team's third-leading receiver this season (38 catches, 605 yards, five touchdowns) as well as being one of its all-time best in career receptions and yards.

He also is Penn State's most elusive receiver after the catch.
