Steel-High's Hill picks PSU

| | Comments (0)

Steel-High's Jordan Hill, the Class A co-player of the year in Pennsylvania, recently became Penn State's 23rd verbal commitment for its 2009 class.

The 6-foot-3, 280-pound defensive tackle and all-state honoree de-committed from Rutgers to accept the Penn State offer. He helped lead the Rollers to a state title this fall.

In the end, Hill was deciding between Penn State, Pitt and Rutgers.

The first-team all-state pick apparently has been enamored with the Nittany Lions from the start, and suddenly became interested when he received a scholarship offer just before Christmas.
