The Penn State camps are back

| | Comments (0)

Nearly 3,000 high school football players from around the country will, once again, participate in Penn State's summer football camps.

There will be five different camp opportunities on campus in June, including the popular "seniors-only camp."

Two offense/defense skills camps for grades 8 through 12 will be held June 21-24 and June 28-July 1. A placekicking camp, led by Penn State kicking coach and recruiting coordinator Mike McQueary, will be held June 19-20. It also is for grades 8 through 12.

The "seniors-only" camp will be held June 26-27. In addition to the Penn State staff, this camp will feature the assistance of many visiting college coaches and former Nittany Lion players.

And the popular 7-on-7 team passing camp will be held June 13. It is designed for varsity programs.

Additional camp information, including registration forms, can be found at www.penstatefootballcamps.com or by contacting the Penn State sports camps office at 814-865-0561.
