Bradley named top recruiter

For years, Penn State's Tom Bradley has been the recruiter to beat in Western Pennsylvania.

The defensive coordinator was born and raised in Johnstown and has represented the area well as a Nittany Lion player and longtime coach.

And now his most recent prospect haul from around Pittsburgh that has earned him some special honors.

Rivals.com recently named him its "Big Ten Recruiter of the Year," exclusively on his work landing five of the Nittany Lions' top prospects in the Class of 2010.

He started with Canon-Mcmillan linebacker Mike Hull, a U.S. Army All-American and arguably the top middle linebacker in the nation. Then came Sto-Rox's Paul Jones, one of the top quarterbacks in the country.

Last summer he receive pledges from Rivals250 offensive linemen Miles Dieffenbach (Fox Chapel) and Thomas Ricketts (North Allegheny) -- both of them Pitt legacy recruits. Penn Trafford High offensive lineman Luke Graham joined them, too.

Dieffenbach is considered possibly the top center recruit nationally and Ricketts' recruiting stock spiked recently after his latest highlight film was released.
